I constantly find myself interested in the various accents around the UK area. They just vary so much. You can tell where a person is just by listening to their twang and word usage. The same goes for the United States but I guess this is something that I notice more while in another country. It also surprises me at how small England really is and how so much variety can exist in that small area.

Every accent is a new accent for me.

I’ve never really thought of myself as having an “Accent.” Yet everyone here says, ” You have an American Accent” or “Are you from Canada?” For me its just funny to think that I have some sort of accent to other people. As I’m sure they might find it strange that I think they have a accent. But at the same time I think it maybe less strange for them because all you have to do is hop on a train for 2 hours and you can immediately tell the difference in pronunciation and twang.
